On the weekend of 22nd & 23rd August, the family & I went camping at the Jondaryan Heritage Festival, approx. 1/2 from Toowoomba. The Festival was great but what I went for was the Utility or Farm Dog Trial. This is different to the usual three sheep trial as it tests your dogs ability in the paddock and yards in situations similar to on the farm.
It was great to have some of our trainees there to have a run with their dogs. Congratulations to Lyndal, Craig, Reece and Sharon.
The Festival runs until 30th August with a three sheep trial on 29th & 30th. If you have time, it would be worth your while to drop out for a visit.
The following two runs are Ellie & Ivy in the final of the Open. Ellie place third with 96 & 97 scored and Ivy placed second with 97 & 98. The winner was Allan Thornton with 98 & 98.
