The aim of the Working Sheep Dog Show is to help owners of all Working Bred dogs live a happy, harmonious life with their best friend, either in the city where they are required to do nothing more than be a good friend to a farm environment where they spend their days mustering stock.  Life with your dog should be easy and calm.  Anything other than that and you could use some help.

Working Dogs are different to other dogs and I include in my description of working dogs border collies, kelpies, cattle dogs or blue heelers and any form of shepherd - german, belgian, australian and the koolie.  Working Dogs were bred for a purpose and they are for the most part, exceptionally clever.  It is knowing how to work with the Ages and Stages of your dogs growth and understanding how this makes them different from other dogs that will make your life easier.

If you have access to one of my training groups, great, but if not please know that I understand you need help to.  To this end I have produced a DVD that explores the Untold Secrets of Working Dogs, which will be available by early July 2009 and soon to follow that will be a downloadable E-book covering the same information in a different format.  So you can choose what format suits you best.

My group training programs educate owners on the special needs of working dogs, provide practical skills and address problem behavours to help ensure both the dog and owner can enjoy a happy and relaxed life together.  We also give your best friend a visit with the sheep to show you what natural ability your dog would have in the working world.  I also offer extensions on the sheep dog training with intermediate and advanced training sessions.
